Hi. I have a question. Can sweet potato water work as substitute?

Would it be possible to use maple or coconut sugar instead of cane sugar? Would it work to proof the yeast? I am sensitive to cane sugar but would love to try this!

Is it possible to do this in a bread machine??

    1. I have only tried it twice. Both times the bread did not rise or mix like it should have. So I would not recommend using a bread machine.

Have you ever tried crumbling it up and using it in a recipe that calls for bread crumbs? Just wondering if it would have the right consistency.

    1. Yes, I use it as bread crumbs for other recipes just fine! I also use it as panko.

Hi! Our gluten free flour blend does not contain xanthan gum. How much xanthan gum would I add to the recipe?

    1. I would highly recommend getting the namaste brand flour as it has the perfect amount of xantham gum in it already. I cannot guarantee your bread will turn out with a different flour mixtures than i suggest in the recipe, because gluten free flours can be so different from each other. But if you want to try it out, I would recommend 1 tsp of xantham gum added to your flour.

Can I use a hand mixer for this? Or do I have to whisk by hand?

    1. I would recommend a kitchen aid first. It will make your bread the most fluffy and tall. A hand mixer or doing it by hand also works, your bread just may be denser and shorter.
