Top 9 free and can be made corn and legume free. Serves 4 servings.

Ingredients

  1. 1 1/2 cups any non dairy milk
  2. 1/4 cup cornstarch, arrowroot, OR gf all purpose flour mixed with an additional 1/2 cup non dairy milk, till dissolved
  3. 1 TB vegan butter of choice (we use homemade as it is top 9 free as well as seed free)
  4. 1 tsp vanilla
  5. 1 cup granulated sugar
  6. 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  7. 1/8 tsp salt

Optional Toppings

  1. 1 cup vegan cool whip OR homemade (if corn, coconut, and legume free)

Directions

  1. Pour all ingredients into a pot on medium heat and stir often to ensure no clumping.
  2. Boil 1-2 mins while constantly stirring and take off heat.
  3. Use in whatever recipe you desire or let it set up for 3-6 hours in fridge. Serve with non dairy whipped cream, if desired.
